This ballfield is being Laser Graded at a 1% slope, as requested by the customer, directing the runoff to the outfield. Using modern technology, the Laser Grader can be programmed to precisely grade from 0 to 10% slope on both the "X" and "Y" axes.
The laser grader can obtain the proper drainage for any baseball or softball field. The laser grader is the only way to achieve a precise slope with accuracy to within 1/8th of an inch.
